Our guesthouse is located in Gols, on the eastern bank of lake Neusiedl and in the heart of the wine region "Neusiedler See - Seewinkel". The region is very diverse and famous for its wine, culinary, spectacular nature, cultural heritage, sports in and around the lake as well as shopping.

In the historic vaulted cellar of the Weinkulturhaus, you can taste over 400 wines from Gols and many regional delicacies.

The Weinwanderweg in Gols will take you through the best vineyards of Gols. Enjoy the view, the nature and the exercise.
Culture
DORFMUSEUM IN MÖNCHHOF
The village museum in Mönchhof gives you an insight into the rural life from 1890 to 1960. You will be able to enter the 35 houses and stroll down memory lane.
Castle HALBTURN
The Baroque castle in Halbturn once served the Kaiser as a hunting and summer residency. Today the castle Halbturn is one of the most valuable historical sights of the Burgenland.
SEEFESTSPIELE MÖRBISCH
The Seefestspiele in Mörbisch are attracting visitors to its operettas and musicals on the unique stage directly on Lake Neusiedl. The imposing natural backdrop of the Neusiedler See National Park harmoniously blends into the largest open-air opera stage in the world.
BASILIKA FRAUENKIRCHEN
The Basilica "Maria auf der Heide" in Frauenkirchen was built in Baroque style in 1695 and is the most visible landmark of our region with its two massive towers.
Römersteinbruch St. Margareten
The Römersteinbruch of St. Margarethen is one of the oldest and largest quarries in Europe. It is well-known for the many cultural events, such as opera festivals, passions and concerts, which take place on the open-air stage.
EISENSTADT
The capital of Burgenland has a lot to offer its visitors. Attractions include the Esterházy Palace, the Haydn House, the Mountain Church, the Martins Cathedral and the Castle Park.
RUST
The Freistadt Rust, also known as the "City of Storks", attracts many visitors every year with its beautiful historic old town.

You can reach the Austrian capital within 45 minutes from our holiday accomodation. The highlights of the city are the Stephansdom, the Hofburg, the Schönbrunn Palace, the Town Hall, the Prater, the Museumsquartier and the Naschmarkt.
Bratislava / Pressburg
The Slovakian capital is located directly on the Danube and close to the "Dreiländereck", where the borders of Slovakia, Austria and Hungary meet. The city's landmark is the "Hrad", a castle that is visible all over the city.

Sopron is one of the oldest cities in Hungary and is situated close to the Austrian-Hungarian border.
